16th Century farmhouse with charm and character
Shadrack was a dairy farm since at least 1920, the house itself is more likely to have once been part of a much grander manor house. Two of the rooms still have original 16th Century moulded beams and the fireplace in the four-poster bedroom also dates from that time. Although no longer a working farm, it has retained the essence of its former purpose.
The changeover day is a Friday and we only accept weekly bookings.
Well-behaved pets are most welcome.
There is strictly no smoking in the farmhouse.

Beautiful house and village
A beautiful house in a picturesque village. My family stayed at Shadrack farm for a week to celebrate my sister's wedding. Our family came over from Spain for the wedding and absolutely loved the house, with all its beautiful features.

Very comfortable farmhouse in a lovely village
Our stay was extremely enjoyable - the farmhouse is full of character and very comfortable. My family came over from France and was very pleased: the farm is a fantastic place to gather as a family and there are many places to explore (walking distance to the beach, excellent and atmospheric market in Bridport, etc.). Mark and Robbie are the best hosts and I highly recommend the place - a gem in Dorset!
